[Fishing Report]

eptember 2, 2011 - We have been out Fluke fishing the last 3 days with tough conditions, but by the reports we have heard from other boats, we have been doing okay.

Frank Cabonilas from Fords, NJ had a couple of keepers and won the pool on Wednesday and we had a number of 4 to 5 pound fluke.

On Thursday, Robert Mugavero from Staten Island, NY had a 5 pound pool winner.

Today, fishing was better with four guys each having a couple of keepers. Guy Weidman from Lebanon, PA had a 5 1/2 pound pool fish.

If the weather looks okay on Saturday, we will look offshore for bigger fish. There are only three days left for a 10 pound fluke to take 1/2 the Big Pool (which is now $3,370.) After Monday, the pool runs till Sept. 25 as the biggest fluke. Good days will be back again.
