ecember 1, 2010 - We never got to post Sunday's results, so here goes. We had a good gang for Tog fishing on Sunday since poor weather on Friday and Saturday's windstorm kept everybody landlocked. We fished the Scotland Grounds, which have been left alone since we have good fishing at the Apple Pie. The current was running to the bow and fishing was good for the stern of the boat all day. Mike the Plumber was the one exception with five nice keeper Blackfish taken in the bow. Orlando Arang from Newark, NJ got a Tog over 7 pounds for the pool. There were a few limit catches in the back of the boat also. The biggest problem was the wind against the tide which kept us from lying steady on the anchors.

We had planned on fishing Tuesday but when we saw the Southeast wind start early, we decided not to sail.

With the strong Southerly wind, we had no plans to fish today (Wednesday) and we are going to pass on Thursday. This coming Friday looks good, and with some luck, the swells will die down and the fish will bite.
