Well all the fluke fishing has been the best we’ve had in few years, we’ve seen more keeper fluke caught here off the wall in the last 2 weeks than we saw in the month of August last year. Killie’s have been the most poplar bait of choice but are daily fresh baits are also a great choice, the top rigs so far has been the JJ buck tail rig ,and bucktails tipped with strip baits. The Night surf fishing is underway with some nice catches of shark if you would like to learn more about fishing the beach for sharks email us or stop by the shop. The party boats are sailing daily for bluefish, bottom fishing and Night bluefish is in full Swing. don’t forget the Crabbing is also in full swing here, don’t forget we are the Crabbing Headquarters for Point Pleasant Beach quick tip DON’T USE CHICKEN why? Salmonella Poisoning. we’ve also been seeing allot of Hickory Shad off the wall on sabika rigs best time seems to be from about 5pm till dark.
