Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries to meet Nov. 18 in Dover
The Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control auditorium, Richardson and Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.
The agenda will include the following items:
•NOAA closure of recreational black sea bass fishery
•Updates from Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission summer and fall meetings and public hearings on striped bass, weakfish, shad
•Revision to winter flounder regulation
•Legislative initiative for artificial reefs in state waters
•Update on joint New Jersey-Delaware black drum plan
•Proposed weakfish regulations
•Agenda for next meeting, Dec. 16
