The heat is building up, but it hasn't hurt the fishing, as a mater of fact there has definately been a little better push of keeper sized fluke coming into the area. That is in addition to the literally pavement of 16 to those 17 7/8" fish that you just can't make cover the magic 18" line on the ruler.

Sunday afternoon after the weekend began winding down I went out with my better half and our best buddies Truffle and Angel. Of course my wife got the big one.

I did get two smaller keepers and we have had some great eating the last couple days. I have found that with the huge number of "Short" fluke that you really need plenty of bait so I am doing my part to help everyone get their bait.

I've reduced the price of minnows to $5 a pint and still am catching the big fat minnows that I've had all year.

If the Heat has gotten you so burnt out that you can't even fish stop by and we'll talk Guatemala Fishing since believe it or not the weather in Antigua and Guatemala City is much cooler than here.
