9/30 INSHORE BOTTOM FISHING REPORT

[Fish Tale Charters]

I had the GAWRONSKI boys out with me today to try to catch some Weakfish, Flounder, Croakers and Bluefish. We did just that. We fished in about 4o to 45ft of water off Ocean City. There were some Conch pots around us and the fish finder was lit up with bait and great marks.

We used cut bait, metal jigs and bucktails and caught fish on all. The action was great, it was non stop. We caught Weakfish up to 18" we had Bluefish in the 3 or 4lb class and the Croakers were 18 to 19" also. Great fun!

After we loaded up on all the Weakfish, Blues and Croakers the guys wanted we went to a couple spots looking for some flat fish and were not able to find any sign of them. But the boys went home with a ton of great filets of Weakfish, Blues and Croakers.

Paul, It was a blast. We used some real light tackle and the guys went nuts with it. They had never used metal before so they learnd something new. It was FUN.
