Finally got out for a couple hours for the flatties, and a shot at the big prize

Took my son and nephew out in the am for a few hours before the bar-b-q. Fished mostly inshore of Sea Girt Reef, picked at the shorts and skates. When we drifted into the the reef and started to lose rigs, we moved to the outside edge.

Picked a few more shorts, then a nice 24" fish at 11:30, falling tide. But then it was time to go

We were using squid strips with killies and spearing on fishfinder rigs

Beautiful day, I'd like to get back out. Pic to follow if I can get someone to dwonload for me

Nice catch. My daughter out fished me last week and caught a 21"...... keep the kids fishing....its great fun.
