I guess you were serious about coming down to extend the season. Good job on the YFT! Can you provide a bit of info like water temperature and what the fish ate? YFT has been tough this year and I'm hoping it picks up soon because we are running out of time. Also, did you hear of anything else happening in that area? Thanks!
We were right dead center of PoorMans in 72 deg water about 90-100 Fm deep.
I had a ballyhoo rigged to a 9" white squid stinger 24" back of a pink and yellow squid spreader bar.
I trolled this 7 Knts, just at the end of my wash, maybe 50ydrs back.
Her belly was PACKED with white squid the size of my stinger.
Saw little life out there, fish, birds or human. Maybe 3 sportfishing boat all heading in by 13:00. Heard nothing on the radio (but I dont know what chanels to scan down here 68-69?)
Going back out Sunday if the weather lays down and after picking up some more 9" white squid teasers.

My wife makes the sticky rice since I am not sure how to operate the stove and the rice is the key.
Once you have that down just get on of those bamboo rolling mats and cover it with plastic wrap lay out the sea weed paper then a layer of rice ( wet hands alot) some sea weed salid some sashimi and roll.
if you screw one up, quickly eat it and no one will know!
