We had plans to fish the Jackspot to catch a few bluefish then head to Marine Electric to do some sharking. Due to water temps we decided to fish the twin wrecks. Two miles short of the twin wrecks we came up on big schools of bait fish so we decided to troll the area. We trolled for 2 hours, marking all kinds of fish, but did not pick anything up. Then we headed south to the Jackspot were we did good the previous week. Once there, we set up a spread of 6 rods pulling all stretches. Within 45 minutes we hooded up 7 bluefish, 10 – 20 lbs. We kept 4, packed up our trolling spread and started sharking. We managed to pick up and release one dogfish shark. We packed up around 1:45pm and headed back to the dock
