6/2 FLUKE A BIT SLOW

I was out with Rick and his best fishing buddy his 6 year old daughter Caroline.

Things were a bit slow with water temp dropping from 71 to 62. This will slow the Fluke bite down when they are used to the warmer water. With things being slow I gave Caroline some jobs. The first was to be in charge of the minnows. She did a nice job with that. She also did a nice job making sure the Gulls were not going to be hungry. Another job was to make sure the boat was clean. So with the rag I gave her off she went. The boat was never so clean. It seemed as though her dad was making a big mess and she let him know.

As we got to the top of the tide we got a little action and Caroline caught 3 shorts. great job. I think you know what is coming next. Caroline is sitting there fishing and says to her dad I think I got something. Sure enought with alittle of dad's help she got the pool winner. An 18" Fluke, her first keeper ever. Dad is never going to live this down, EVER!

We went on to catch 9 Fluke total keeping 3 up to 18" THANKS CAROLINE & RICK
