Headed around the hook and ran down the beach south of long branch to fill the livewell with bunker. Had a shot at a thresher in a school until someone ran through it and almost ran over my shark float and the shark!!! Watched a guy land a nice shark about 2 schools down from us. Stuck it out and watched some stripers being pulled, mostly 20lb fish. We missed some run offs, but nothing came tight. Worked to the E a little and found a nice big school and it was game on! Had atleast a fish hooked on just about every pass through the school. Smallest fish of the day was 24lbs, largest was 47" and 39lbs. Dropped a bigger one near the boat. 3 boats fished the school with us and everyone was hooking up constantly. Saw some brown sharks in the schools after dark as well but decided to call it a day instead of messing around with them. Carry an offshore setup with you...the toothy criters are out there.
