6/19 Blue Fish Hotdog

Got a late start today, did not get out to the grounds until 10:30. Dropped lines in on the west side of the middle sausage. Got one hit from a Blue as the lures were being let back, fish ran straight at the boat before the rod was even picked up and it was gone. After trolling north for awhile we picked up and ran to the hot dog. Trolling towards the North East side of the Dog two lines went down at the same time and we hooked up two. Boated two very nice Blues (10 lbs. range) and unfortunately that was it for the day. Nice day out on the water though

Great day there I love catching 2 bluefish in a day. Sorry you didnt get the blue at the sausage

It sounded like we did not do as nearly as well compared to some other boats who boated more than 2 blues. 50 Miles is a long way to catch 2 blues. Still a great day on the water
