Fished 45 miles east of manasquan yesterday.We trolled and got bombarded by bluefish.It was like attack of the bluefish out there.But there were bluefin out there but we and a bunch of other boats couldnt get passed the blues.We tried to jig them up but you coudnt drop 20 feet before gettin wacked by the blues.We set up to shark and we got a blue shark on right away.We released or first mako in about 2 hours it was about 60 pounds.Then his big brother showed up and swam behind the boat but we couldnt get him to take a bait.He was probably full all ready from all the blues that fish was way over 250.water was 68 and real clean.There are tons of sand eel and out there the blues were full of them and also ther was clouds of krill or shrimp on top of the water everywhere.Its gonna happen soon out there with the bluefin with all the bait around.
