well we finally got all the bugs worked out, and the new rig is sweeeet!
so we decided to make our way down the ASA striper tournament in cape may NJ. The first day the w**d did not stop blowing. so the 2 day gig ended up being a 1 day all or nothing tournament. fishing was slow all day and then around 2pm one of the rods with a nogin started screeeming!
we had here on for about 5 to 10 minutes when buddy put the net in the water to get her. all i heard was holly sh**t. for i till this time did not think she was going to be on the large side. when she came over the rail we realized how long she was 52 inches 41 lbs wow. she was all beat up and all spawned out.
well it was our only fish all day, and for that matter are only run off. but what the heck, if you are only going to catch one fish might as well make it a bigun
