The big Jamaica sailed to the offshore wrecks on Friday, December 3 and had another very good trip. Fishing was good for giant sea bass up to 6LBS, jumbo porgies, cod up to 35LBS and some Pollock.

The pool winners were:

Cai Zhong Chen from Harrison with a 35LB cod. Mr Chen also had his limit of sea bass and big porgies.

George Hanakis fromm Perth Amboy, NJ with a 12LB Pollock.

Rick Strodel from also caught his limit of sea bass plus jumbo porgies.

There was plenty of life on all of the wrecks we fished. This is just the beginning of the offshore migration so we should continue to have good catches all through December

If you want to catch giant sea bass and some of the biggest porgies you have ever seen now is the time to go.

The big Jamaica is scheduled to fish the offshore wrecks every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Now is the time to go offshore.
