Today was the first day of Flounder and it was good. With the first day falling on a holiday weekend I knew there was going to be boat traffic out the wazoo, so we got off the dock at 5:30am. I had Rick Horn and Chris Daggett on board. We got to our spot and dropped the lines in and started catching keeper flounder for the box. The action was steady and stayed that way for the trip. 4 hours later the guys boated 31 Fluke we kept 10 from 17" to 19 1/2" and got 5 Bluefish in the 2 to 3lb range. FUN DAY IN THE BAY. THANKS GUYS!
ya i was out there my self today for opening season . everyone and there mother was out today we ended up with 7 keepers . but good work , i am trying to find them blues i need shark BAIT !!! couldent find them today
I heard the Blues are pretty scattered right now. A guy at the dock did have decent catch yesterday on the Triple Lumps. The smaller ones we got yesterday were caught on the flats near a couple drops by the PKW bridge. We had fun. Used real light tackle to make it interesting.
