Thumbs up 3rd Annual High Tides Striper Tournament benefiting Brendan's Fund

Once Again, on Saturday, November 7, 2009, the Carpenters Union Local 1743 will host the High Tides Striper Tournament for the benefit of the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, Inc. This will be the 3rd installment of our annual event. This year’s tournament, as always, has guaranteed prize money no matter how many boats fish.

Sea Tow will again sweeten the winner’s pot with an extra $250.00 kicker provided the winner is a Sea Tow member. And this year, we have added an all new Junior Angler Category: Anglers 12 years old and under; category with super prizes for 1st through 3rd place anglers.

A $50.00 entry fee not only allows anglers to fish the tournament but gains entry to the Awards Dinner and free gourmet dinner with cash bar. Also returning this year will be the non-mandatory Captains’ Meeting on Friday, November 6, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at Hinch Marina. Free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will accompany the event.

We look forward to seeing all of our friends, old and new at this year’s tournament.
    Prize Money
    1st Place: $3000
    2nd Place: $1000
    3rd Place: $500
    4th Place: $400
    5th Place: $300

Dave, not sure about that. You'll have to give Andy Bulakowski (Tournament Director) a call about that. His # is listed on the website along w/the rules.

Dave no problem leaving from Port Norris. Just can't leave any inlet until 5am and the fish must be weighed in at Hinch Marina.

That boat doesn't move, everyone on the dock uses it for storage
