2011 NJ Fluke Reg Options
Had some news come out of the ASMFC about what the option for the 2011 fluke season will be. See the options below:

Option 1 - 18" - 6 May 28 to Sept. 5
Option 2 - 17.5"- 6 May 28 to Sept. 5
Option 6 - 18" - 6 May 14 to Sept.18
Option 7 - 18" - 8 May 14 to Sept.18
Option 8 - 18" - 6 May 2 to Sept. 30
Option 9 - 1-17" 5- 18" May 28 to Sept. 5
Option 11 - 1-17" 7- 18" May 28 to Sept. 5
Option 13 - 1-17.5" 5-18" May 28 to Sept. 5
Option 14 - 1-17.5" 5- 18" May 14 to Sept. 18
Option 15 - 1-17.5" 7- 18" May 28 to Sept. 5
Option 16 - 1-17.5" 7 - 18" May 14 to Sept. 18

Still not too many good options but we will have to wait and see just what kind of fluke regs we get for 2011. This will be voted on in at the March meeting.

I'd like to see the longest season possible, gives the back bays a better shot and something to fish for in sept before the striped bass show up. Although I'm sure this option would force us over quota because of mortality issues.
Its still a huge bunch of crap, no matter how you cut it
