1st fun fishing offshore trip of year!!

Got invited to head out with a buddy of mine, Rob....Boat name Reel Escape. Had a great crew aboard, Kevin, Rob, Dave(Rob's father in law) and my mate Gerry. Headed to the 50f line just north of the weather buoy. Got covered up with tuna as we were putting the fifth bait out. Got 1 tuna about 50 lbs. Trolled for a while and pulled a couple tunas off. Got some dolphin on the troll. Finally I see Gerry catch a fish....a first all summer Nice yellowfin about 65lbs. Find a nice weeline and start bailing gaffer dolphin...Totals for the day

2 fat alberts
15 gaffers
10 chicken dolphin
1 GREAT time on the water.
I did catch some gaffers and an albert....I still remember how to crank

Hi Capt. Duane, I glad to hear there's some tuna action out there in our neck of the woods! Sorry I had to miss out on the last Norfolk Angler meeting. Plan on making the October one! Striper season starts next week.oh boy, oh boy!!
