The 14th Annual Jersey Shore Classic Inshore and Offshore Tournament hosted by Avalon Pointe Marina in Avalon, New Jersey, will be held on July 22nd and 23rd 2011 as a direct fund raiser for the Breast Cancer Coalition and the Recreational Fishing Alliance. Fishermen from around the Mid-Atlantic region will be competing to take first prize. The inshore boats will be battling to find the biggest weakfish and flounder, while the offshore captains will be in search of tuna and dolphin.

The Jersey Shore Classic tournament was founded in 1997 to raise money for Breast Cancer research. Since it’s inception, the tournament has transformed from a 7-boat one-day event into a 100+ boat, 2-day, all-inclusive Inshore and Offshore Tournament. The tournament has raised over $125,000 in thirteen years in the fight against breast cancer. And, as an official RFA (Recreational Fishing Alliance) event, we support and donate funds to protect our precious resources and sport for the future. No fish, no fishing tournaments!
