    14.5 lb Weakfish!

    Chad D. caught this early in the morning in the Cape May Inlet area. He blew his personal best of 8lbs away!

    Ahh, that brings back memories of the days when we used to slaughter the squeteague up here......

    Now you'll hardly find any....

    2 years ago I caught one while fluking off Cliff Walk in Newport.....big damn fish too! Almost forgot what one looked like LOL.

    Yeah, we've actually been getting reports of 8-12 lbrs being caught around here lately, not thick but definitely steady reports. As for recognizing them, I actually had a customer look at the pic today and say "So that's what one looks like".

    We could only hope that it continues to get better.

    Very nice. You won't see many like that anymore. I have heard of very few beeing caught in the Chesapeake Bay this year, Usually by this time the bite is good.
