Sea Bass • Ling • Cod


Tuesday's Deep Water Ling trip was good this past week with many anglers landing from 12 to 15 fish per person and a large number of high hooks with 20 to 30. We continue to see quite a few Cod on most of the Deep Water trips as well. Kirk Davis from Rumson, NJ had 32 Ling and 1 Cod, Joe Navalance from Roselle, NJ had 25 Ling, Chris Carter from NY had 3 Cod and 27 Ling, Taylor Stromhad 7 Cod and 15 Ling and Cliff Nagle had 16 Ling and 2 Cod.

Wednesday's Deep Water trip was good with Mike Sibilia from Middletown landing 21 Ling and 2 Cod, Nate Nanton from Rahway had 19 Ling and a pool winning 10lb. Cod, Rick Blanchard from Newark had 17 Ling and a Cod and Chris and Alex from Brick combined for 32 Ling, 2 Cod and a Haddock.

Our inshore trips have produced some decent catches with a mix of Ling and Sea Bass depending on the day. Seems after one slow day we get a good one. Saturday saw us have one of the best days inshore this month. Jay Watson from Ewing, NJ had 16 Ling and 5 keeper Sea Bass, Bernie Miller from Bristol, PA had 14 Ling and 3 Sea Bass, Jim Gomaz from Edison, NJ had 7 Ling and 8 Sea Bass, John Miller from Forked River had 11 Ling and 5 Sea Bass and George Owens from Philadelphia, PA had 9 Ling and 6 Bass. Most anglers had a solid 8 to 12 fish per person between Sea Bass and Ling with many landing 15-20. A few anglers had less. We did not sail on Sunday due to the weather.

Our Marathons sail every Monday & Friday from 6:30am to 5:00 pm. Our Marathons offer a longer day, enabling the captain to hit more or further spots, whatever is needed and are starting the day targeting Sea Bass and are also catching Ling and Cod.

Our Thursday, Saturday and Sunday trips will sail from 6:30am till 3:30pm and are targeting Sea Bass, Ling and Cod.

Our Deep Water Wreck Specials sail every Tuesday and Wednesday fishing the deep drops in the Mudhole and other areas for Ling, Cod and Pollock (do not expect Sea Bass on the Deep Water Trips)
