    Congrats on the band and the goose. I'm up to 17 duck bands and well over 100 goose bands and 4 neck collars. Most of the goose bands are from snow geese

    Damn John..uve killed a few havnt ya

    This years been a "band" year it seems. Ive shot 2 banded ducks,4 swan bands just this year. It quite exciting when you see the flash as it falls.

    Yeah, sure were Matt. Got an invite to slim the herd on a lake. Never thought about a band on these things down here. He called in the #'s so we shall see where it got banded later. Im definately interested to find out. I think I like all these golf course geese now! , Except on the golf course!

    i killed a banded goose up around franklin county some years back. it was a resident bird banded a short ways from richmond Va that must have picked up with some migrators and come on down south. aint no tellin where that bird of your boys' came from.

    the geese we killed saturday were a freak thing. a pair of geese in the tight timber at 10 yards didnt stand a chance. we were hunting local as well, believe it or not.
