This little kid is on fire. He has already caught his first tuna, caught and wired his first dolphin. Shot his first buck and doe. And this weekend got his first turkey with his dad Corey (dove hunt on the board). Not sure if he has turned 6 years old yet. Congrats Wil.
That is fantastic. CONGRATS to Wil on all his accomplishments. I had never even seen a turkey when I was 6. Please keep us posted on Wil's future accomplishments and let us know if he decides to give lessons or start guiding. Great pics, and I know that is one PROUD pappa... GO GETEM WIL!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a shot of his first tuna. This one was very special considering that my 12 (at the time) year old son wired it and a 12 year old girl gaffed it. I think we are slowly turning into spectators

Thanks for posting the pic's Bill. Here's the story:
Went to bed Friday night hoping the Storms would hold off in the am for the MD youth day. Got set up early with the wind taking out one of our 3 decoys before light, pulled it. A few gobbles before a hen showed about 250 yds at other end of field. Was not long before another hen showed with two jakes then a couple strutting jakes show. They moved to about 150 down the field while keeping a close eye on our spread, then it was all they could take here they come. "Get Ready Wil", got the gun out the window and on the Mono Pod. then it was a full sprint right by the hen decoy to the jake decoy set up 20 yds out. Without missing a step they where all four strutting and one attacked the decoy. Wil was on them, only problem was all four heads where in the sights at once. Wil did a fantastic job holding off waiting for them to separate enough for a clean shot. While waiting for the separation they all fired off a gobble at the same time. Wil was in my lap and I had my arms around his waist and I could feel is heart pounding with my hand. It took several minutes before they seperated and Wil put the hammer on him.
The second time this year I have had this special fealing. I can't describe it. Again what a fantastic morning.
