NYBearhunter, you're basically saying the same thing I said; perhaps I wasn't clear? Oh, don't tell me "I have issues"........sounds to me by putting the post up in the first place, that you're just wanting to see some flaming started about your post. I don't hunt bears, because here in eastern Virginia, they're just starting to spread into the eastern counties.........not at "pest" levels, like they are in some places.

Personally, I don't give a rat's *** how you kill a bear.....rifle, shotgun, bow, or jump on the bears back with a Bowie knife in your hand. Don't put words in my mouth. As far as standing up for all forms of hunting, that's exactly the point of my post. Now...............is that clear enough for you?

I don't know exactly where you are in SE Va, but I have spent many years there and have always found bear to be in very, very good numbers. I don't think NYBH was picking a fight, thats not his style at all. I bear hunt alot (handgun mostly), enjoy the hunt and the eating just as much here in Eastern NC. A bear to me is the most awesome critter in the woods. I take very few because of choice, but I do certainly love to get up close and personal with them. Frank

YESTERDAY, I HAD A GREAT DAY, WENT FISHING ALL DAY, CAUGHT A MESS OF FISH AND ATE REAL SWELL.

TODAY, WHEN I READ THIS I, STARTED LAUGHING FOR MOST OF THE TIME I'M DOING THIS, THANKS FOR THE HUMOR.

THIS THREAD WAS POSTED FOR AN OVERALL VIEW ABOUT SNARE HUNTING, AND AS YOU SEE BY READING THE REPLIES ALL EXPRESSED THEIR THOUGHTS WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. MANY PEOPLE DO HUNT WITH SNARES (MOSTLY) SMALL GAME, BUT LIKE I MENTIONED IT'S QUICKLY BECOMING A SPORT OF HUNTING IN CANADA, THATS WHAT REALLY INTERESTS ME.

PUT WORDS IN YOUR MOUTH HARDLY, I USED YOUR OWN WORDS, AND THEY ARE VERY CLEAR, YOU MADE A CRACK AGAINST BOW HUNTING WITH THAT BLEEDING OUT COMMENT, THAT IS CLEAR TO ME AS A NEGATIVE STATEMENT, SO IF YOUR STANDING UP FOR HUNTING, YOU SHOULD RECONSIDER AND SAY THINGS THAT ARE POSITIVE NOT FEED THE THOUGHT PROCESS OF ANY ANTI'S.
