At least live next to a couple of rednecks when you lose Verizon telephone and Internet service because a hunter shot the phone lines.
Verizon says we might not have phone service until Dec 1 because it looks like some hunters were shooting near phone lines and him them and took our whole street out of service. Funny thing is Verizon didn't realize that the Post office is on our street. Now they are working on the problem as I type. I guess the post office has a little more pull then I have

It's not always who you know....when something federal is out of service, somebody is working OT to get it back.
