I am off to Wyoming in the AM for a three day antelope hunt. If the blackberry works we will send an update on Friday. Hope to have some pics and video when we get back next week.
Never been to Wyoming before - really looking foreward to this hunt. Just two of us in camp with speed goat tags and one other hunter with an elk tag.
I hope it's worth missing the opener of muzzelloader season here for this.
standing by for the full report... bow or gun? water hole or spot stalk? I want to know how it tastes too, the more pics the better. Hope you have a GREAT hunt.
Well we are back in NC and here is a few pictures. We had a great hunt in South East Wyoming, the 20,000 acre ranch was 20 miles off the paved road at about 6500' - highest ridges about 7500'. Weather was great for a few days and the snow moved in on Friday. Our outfitter killed a 6X6 elk the day we arrived, two of us in camp had antelope tags and only one hunter had an elk tag. Hunting was spot and stalk for the most part - way cool way to hunt but it will put a hurtin on an old fat Carolina boy in those hills. We killed two antelope and the elk on Friday - spent the rest of the time elk hunting with one of our guides who had resident tags.
