the biologists say they are just skin warts and as long as there is no infection under the skin, the meat is OK to eat. What about you, would you eat it?
It had warts scattered from the hocks on it's back legs to it's nose.
kinda like, If you have to question if it ok to eat, best bet is not to. If you feel bad for for the possible waste,don't. Donate it to a biology guy or hunters for the hungry.
I wouldn't risk it, there are enough deer in this world to not take that chance no matter what the biologists said. What did it look like under the skin??
i wouldn't either. reminds you of the worms tha tlook like rice in duck breasts. i had a biologist tell me they would not hurt you either but when i clean a duck that has them in the trash it goes.
