If this is the Elk I'm thinking of though it might be one that was shot in a high fence area after being raised in a pen. There are pics circulating around that show him in velvet with a hardwood forest behind him and a feed pan at his feet. -D |

Yep...that's him....What would be more impressive is to shoot the lead cow out of a herd. That's a trophy. Granted the animal is beautiful and something to marvel at, hunting should always be fair chase.

Take a look at these two. The racks are similar but they appear to be a little different to me. But then again I'm not a Boone nor a Crocket nor a Pope nor a young not even a box.
