i got an offer from a buddy late last night for some duck decoys. he said $25 for 10 so i decided it was a good deal. I got home and checked them out and just looking at them made me want to throw my waders on grab my gun and blow my call. Man i am in a difficult spot right now. I cant fish because i don't get out of school till June 12th and hunting season seams like a life time a way i don't know about anybody else but since i don't really turkey hunt i just cant wait like 6 months.
Dust of your varmit gun or .22 and have some fun with the Ground Hogs--- easy hunting from now until mid/late June. Or find a bridge where pidgons roost out in the country and have at em--- go to a local county dumpster trash collection site at night, and the ferrel cats---- uh, never mind--- not politically correct anymore---- shit, just give the whistle pigs hell--- the farmers will thank you for it.
I TOO HAD TURKEY WITHDRAWALS THIS SEASON BECAUSE THE CHARTERS HAVE KEPT ME ON THE WATER IN APRIL AND MAY
SO I WENT FRIDAY WITH BTH....
PLACED TWO DECOYS OUT AND STARTED YELPING....SHORTLY TWO GEESE LANDED BEHIND THE DECOYS....AND SHORTLY AFTER THAT A FULL GROWN RED-TIPPED COYOTE BEGAN STALKING THE GEESE....AND AFTER THEY SEEN HIM AND LEFT...HE TOOK A NOTION TO GO AFTER THE DECOYS.....AND I WAS WITH MY BOW....
HE WAS CLOSE....CLOSE....BUT NOT CLOSE ENOUGH FOR MY PARKER TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH HIS SORRY ASS...
Interesting hunt. The coyotes have been becoming more and more of a problem I feel like. During duck season I heard them almost constantly in the morning and late afternoon. I guess it's time to get the .223 Ar's out and have a field day.
Alex I went bass fishing on the tuckahoe creek sunday and brought my calls. I had some ducks come over and circle and had the geese talking but none of them would fly i guess they had some goslings with them.
