I just got the scent Lok suit out of the dryer washed in scent away detergent and scent away dryer sheet. The weather has been awful for 24 hours . the morning forcast is calling for mostly cloudy skies , 33 degrees with a WNW wind at 13 mph .

I am hitting the sack . I will be in the tree at 6. I am hoping this weather break will have the big boys moving . The weather seems to improve during the day and with the rut close to going off I will sit most of the morning .

Wow was it windy this morning! The deer were definately on the move this morning. I had 4 does under neath me almost all morning. I saw 2 young bucks a 6 and small 8 sparring in the bean field 75 yards in front of me. Did not see any shooters this morning but was still a great morning. Thought the tree i was in was going to snap in half a couple times due to the wind dicey at times . gonna eat some lunch and get back out there as I Left deer still moving. Going to change stands tonight to the SW corner of the bean field where the 2 bucks came from. I have not hunted this stand in a couple weeks so it should be a good night.

Hopefully tonight is the night. Good luck guys !

now is the time to pack a lunch for the stand, make sure your blackberry is fully charged, and take a few empty bottles.

BOX is right. They'll move in the middle of the day looking for a lady that might have left a little happy scent on their scrape!
