Winchester Model 70

7mm Rem Mag, Super Grade (choice turkish walnut and scrolling on the hardware), BOSS system, Galico strap ($200 strap), Leapold Vari-XIII 10x42. The gun is beautiful... but I do not use it. I bought it new in 1996 and have shot 5 rounds to site the scope and went 3 or 3 on two axis and 1 8-point., so it has had 8 rounds fired through it..and I have a few boxes of ammo and the box with the 8 shells gone. The rifle, strap, scope, everything is as good as new. Not the first blemish, scratch, nada.

If I was a hunter, I would NEVER sell this rifle, and not sure I want to, but I do know I want a particluar S&W AR15 (and this rifle is worth more than the AR, so I don't want to trade). I'll try and get a few pics up shortly (I need to find my cable for my camera)...

Sorry, I just saw this. I took it into my local gun shop and he gave me $1,400 for it on the spot. He said he would sell it around $2000 with the wood & scope it had. I didn't feel it haggling so I let him have it and I got a new S&W AR15 with a 2 stage match trigger and some other things out of it. I hated to part with it, but I never used it and I don't have a child to leave it to, so I figured I would get something fun to shoot and can be carried on the boat when making a longer voyage. It had the claw extractor, controlled round feed and a pre-64 action. (and I got to keep my strap which had some sentimental value).
