well the short version,,I live here in Fauquier cnty. VA, yup the big horse country and fox running,(tally ho) well, new place, the owner said hunt in your truck don't hang stand, ok never done this before, so found a place to park deer everywhere but can't get a shot he has 200 acres of all field they were over the fence, saw 2 foxes and got pics, bout 1030hrs finally a small buck running a doe, or so I thought, I called at him he stoped but behind a tree, had gun up and finger on trigger no shot as I put down gun owner called and said the hunt (fox hunters) were comming through at that time i saw 2 dogs trailing deer silent, with gun still out door, look out front windshield 30yds away a guy sitting on horse wearing a red jacket LOLOL that would have been funny, but glad I didn't take shot cause 3 min later I heard trumpet heard dogs and almost got ruhn over by a bunch (50 or so) people on horses all wearing red coats, now being the smart a** redneck I am (and also after 30yrs of running hounds competion coon hunting all over and son winning a nat. award) get out of truck *yes I put down gun* and told one of the guys, who happened to have a thick english accent that their dogs were not running a fox but BACK tracking deer ans I even had pics of the fox and they did not go or come taht way, he informed me that they "were well aware that there were deer all over and abundent and that they had Fox Hounds not dogs and their "fOX hOUNDS" did not run deer they were fox hounds period" hmmmmmmm funny i saw the whole thing with pics. now the master of hounds comes ridding up and I figured that he would listen to me especially since I was a "houndsman" meself...hmmmm well he turned his horses a*** right at me and side steped away (have taken a few pics by now, thought they were going torun over me too) as you will see if i can get Marty to post the pics......now as they start to go over the hill the dogs strike and me being my redneck self ex-comp. coonhunter I jump out of the truck and yell "STRIKE TIMBER" my old dogs name...I get looks you would not believe LOLOLOLOL now the master of hounds blows his little trumpet, dogs are yapping horses starting to run and i hollar STOP i want to get a pic of what is going to happen, I tell them just in time, I snap it you will see horses a***es red jackets, master of hounds just over hill one dog taking up the rear (rest of dogs over hill) and 3 deer taking off up the hill LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL you never heard so many redneck comments in all your life as they trott off to the do not follow call by the master of hounds trumpet
