Where to get a Left Hand Rifle?

    Dang it,
I have been searching around and can't seem to find what I am looking for.Maybe some of you may have some insight.
I am looking for a nice deer rifle and I am having a little trouble doing so. The thing is, I cannot wink both eyes, only my right. Ever since I was kid I shot left handed, even though I am a righty in all other facets.
So I go looking around online and at Dick's and see some models I like but I can't get what I am looking for, and that is: A deer rifle that is left handed, composite w/ cammo print.
Now I know I can get it in all black and some will just say "get it in black dude" but I am looking before pulling the trigger on a purchase.
Any of you know of anything out there?
    Thanks,
    Norm

I feel your pain, I'm a lefty too. I found we can't buy and sell guns like the right handed guys. I've had my rifle for a long time, I think you are doing the right thing by trying to get exactly the gun you want because, as I'm sure you have found out, LH rifles are not real common. Good luck. There is a gun room off HWY 64 near Columbia area I'm sure someone knows the name ofon here(slipped my mind) that you can call and I'm sure they have a great selection for you. Or just order from the manufacturer if you the exact gun you want. Not sure if you're in a hurry to get it.

Your talking about Mackey's Ferry, and he has alot of guns.

You might want to talk to my father in law, Bryan at Frisco Rod and Gun, he does alot of custom order stuff, and my brother in law is left handed. He just found him a Model 70 in 300 wsm that is lefty.

One viable possibility would be to purchase a black synthetic ( or wood) and then send it to one of the better camo dip shops ( Jim Crumley's in Roanoke, Va. is very good). If you just do the stock it'll run you about $125. Stock + barrel runs about $225 (plus shipping)--- just a thought if you're hell bent on camo. (I think he'll even do scopes if you want that dome as well).

Try basspro in Myrtle Beach, call them first though and see if they have one.

Now that right there has got me thunkin'.
Do you anyone or have you seen the products from dipping? Is it permanent? As good as factory cammo? Wear off? $125 is swingable and I can always get it done down the road when my pockets are a little more filled.
    Thanks

I have seen a shotgun that was dipped. Looked good, and is supposedly permanent and good protection.

I can vouch for Jim Crumley's, but there are several other "good" dip shops. Yes it is permanent and they use the same process as "factory" camo jobs. Yes, any camo will wear off if subjected to alot ( and I mean alot) of rubbing. My son's Beretta factory camo is rubbing off a section of the receiver due to the way he loads the chamber and magazine. In all fairness, we shoot a fair amount of skeet and he shot about 10 cases of shells last year (that's alot of rubbing on the receiver).
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate sending a new gun to Crumley's. He has a good web site that has videos and explains the process.

You mentioned you had decided on the savage111. Go on their website. They show left hand options. I bet you could order what you want from any authorised dealer.
