Last week was perfect. Freezing cold iced up everywhere and birds were flyin. It is now about 6 pm and here is the latest weather

The weather here is very frustrating itll be frozen up for a couple days then right back in the 70s the rest of the week

Hopefully these next few weeks will produce some decent weather for us and hopefully finish up the season with some birds. Its been hit or miss big time

I wrote it off for the last couple of days weather being the main factor. Then I get the call a few minutes ago about the massacre today. Limits everywhere! 65 degrees sunny and no wind. Go figure. I guess you can't killem if ya don't go.

I thought last year one of em was going to hang one of my decoys.They are a respectful bunch I tell ya.Steel shot over the bow sure gets a strange look.

Lee Its good to know someone understands the frustrations of seeing that boat come off plain with stick baits attached to every pole."You know there not going to stop right there" I think to myself...They say as they pass the box "Where from who knows on a day trip to enjoy some striped bass fishing" , "sure is a pretty day ,yall doing any good?" Get a clue.

How many duck stickers can they put on the back of a truck anyhow.There should be some kind of limit to the amount of cupped up ducks, duck heads, webbed feat, duck dogs and show how big a duck hunter stickers you can have on any one windshield. Geezus.Thats another issue completely , can I get an amen.

Oh well I made a profound statement to a party of mine the other day. NCs winter use to be cold or cool with an occasional warm front, now its hot and or warm all winter with the occasional cold front....I hate the heat mizer.
