Wanted: Used .270

I want to get my son a rifle of his own this year. I'm looking for a Bolt action .270. 3x9 scope. Not a Kia nor a Rolls Royce but a Buick or Chevy, i.e., Remmington, Winchester,etc.
If you have a 270 you want to sell for a fair price, shoot me a PM.

You may want to look at some of the Savage packages out there. I bought one from Sports Authority in 30-06 in a pinch some years ago when invited to go to Montana on the spur of the moment thing. It was dirt cheap and I figured it would get me through the trip then I could get rid of it and get a "nice" one.
I have laid out 24 shots killing 23 animals from pigs and deer to an elk with it since. Solid, reliable, and that cheap factory scope preset has never had a click added or taken away...

Actually I bought the gun. Didn't think I'd like it. Still don't feel like its part of me. The foregrip is pretty wide and just doesn't sit well with me. I will say though that she puts it where you tell it. 3 groups way out at 250 and where the X is laying... Doesn't kick either...

Heres one I have been considering along the inexpensive lines too. Weatherby....
I about shit when I saw them at Wal Mart but there ythey were .270 and 30-06 and priced way reasonable...

i bought a tica.....and.....

good thing is i took it back to the shop and they gave me a brand new one off the rack...free of charge. im not real wild about the rod.
