Hard to find but the ROCKY neopreme waders got the pooky.'

If I were you I would go to a store that sales many kinds of waders and try each one on and walk around in them. After all its what you like not every one else. Neopreme and the right thickness with the right amount of thinsulate for the area you hunt is crucial. Then you need to be comfortable.

Just wanted to let yall know that after some long thought and price checking ive decided to go with the Cabelas neoprine.

I was gonna get the 1200's, i figure this would be enough padding to keep me warm in the cold and not melt in the heat.

They look like there tough and can handle the abuse ill givem, but only time will tell.

I love my hodgmans but man those things have gone up$$$$ , i just cant justify dropping more than 200$ on waders, so i can poke a big ol hole in them opening day.

Thanks again for all the advice on here guys.

PS. Anyone know the best to patch holes in the old ones, i whant to keep em as a spair.

    Thanks, Shane

Shane, let us know how it works out. Personally, I think you made a great decision. Someone mentioned patching with black 5200....sounds like it would work. I patch my breathable ones with Aquaseal and it works well.

Gorilla glue will patch them fine but the waders will need to be on a level surface until the glue starts to kick. It will expand and get a foamy look to it after it cures. You can back it with saran wrap if you have a big hole. You may need to color it with a sharpie once it dries. Aquaseal works good too. Black 5200 works great. But be careful with it. It has carbon black on it and will get all over everything if you touch it until it cures out.

Your new waders will come with a patch kit. It should be a few pieces of material and some aqua seal.

Take them to a tire store and get them to put a tire patch on them. If there canvas or if there is a hole in the boot.
