Which Utility Vehicle?

I go through this every year, but this year I think I'm gonna get one.

I've been on a number of different models and can't decide what is best.

Bad Boy Buggy
Yamaha
Kawasaki Mule
John Deere
ETC...

I'll be using it on mostly fields and relatively flat woods. A little water and mud here and there. Would like to be able to tow a goose decoy trailer and maybe a small light jon boat. Will haul people, dead shit, corn, more dead shit, etc.

We use a Mule . Love it. !!! Ken will say the same, Rugged, good in the mud all around great utility vehicle.

Knowing that you'll be using it for some lazy hog sneaking too, I'd go Bad Boy. Quiet, powerful, and no gas needed. I'm sure you can plug it in the barn.

We have a polaris six wheel at the duck farm and it is great, and the dump bed comes in handy for carrying all the crap to the pit....

Yeah dude, get your ass up here, we'll go for a ride in the Mule. Whatever you get, it has to have a suicide knob, beverage consumption is much easier, gatorade of course. Yes, good in the mud, but if you try to get it stuck it will happen sooner or later.

BYOB?

How loud are they? That's the only thing that has me leaning towards the BBB.

The BBB only does 18 and I'd hate to get stuck w/ dead batteries.

They aren't super quiet, I have the diesel, which is louder than the gas by a tad, but it has way more nads. The BBB is only as loud as the tires going over the terrain, which at higher speeds, isn't that quiet either.

I have been on two BBB's, that were no older than a year and fully charged, and just from my experience, they go faster than 18 mph . . . but going downhill with a stiff breeze on the stern. The four seater loaded with guys and gear, with a deer on the front, going up a slight incline, dude it's like 1.01 mph. Again, that's just my experience, and it all depends on what you want to do with it.

I would look into the yamaha rhino. They have great power and I have seen them go around stuck 500 4 wheelers in the mud. They run about 45mph and have differential lock so they can really pull. I have used it to put a 18' G3 in the water with no problems. They are about as loud as a 4-wheeler.

Probably not what your looking for, but we had a couple of these and they are a BLAST...plus you can take them into the pond to set/retrieve your decoys.

Yamaha is definitely high on the list. I've heard great things about the rhino.

A fellow club member has an argo for another one of his properties that is a swamp. For right now the only water I'll have to go through is a few drainage ditches now and again. They're bad ass machines, but not something I need right now.
