    Thanks guys

He gross scores 176 3/8 and he dressed at 284 lbs . I'm figureing the gut pile somewhere between 35-40 lbs had him at about 325 on the hoof. I hunt in Northern Sask. Canada with a great guy and his family and "Yes" its F'ing cold up there in Nov and Dec but its worth it . I know a lot of guys are hung up on Kansas and Illinois , I used to live in Ill. but Candada for me is the bomb when it comes to big deer. I've hunted 7 different states out west and 4 provinces and have been hunting Alaska solo for the last half a decade. I live to hunt and fish its all I work for . Heres a photo from BC with a booner Mt Goat I got not long ago. Keep hunting and good luck.....sorry if I hijacked the thread I'll stop now.

    I think it's great.

I have always worked so I could hunt and fish. It's been my life. I could not imagine going through life with out hunting and fishing. I can honestly
say I have spent 1000 and 1000 of hours working on swamp buggies, airboats, fishing tackle, boats, guns, bows and arrows and whatever.
I live and breath hunting and fishing, I am glad to see someone else is as lucky as me to have caught such a passion so great.

    Keep up the good work.

nice bucks rick, those kind of trophies are extremely rare here in mi. most bucks here die within 2 yrs to a gun and most of the mature bucks are nocturmal and get hit on the road. deer here are slaughtered for the sake of selling tags and insurance corps. lobbying for their death. the potential to grow em big is here, but too much red tape for true management of a wonderful resource. one buck tag would be a start with a good btd ratio and within 3/4 years we would be back on the big buck map. I love gittin close with my bow and northstarr climber. good luck

I have only shot two bucks... nothing had mass enough to really call a trophy... but I can see those hunts (hell.... every hunt) like its happening now in my minds eye.

Yall got some nice trophies. I want to get a massive one in the future... but if I never do, I would still hunt. I like does as much as bucks (actually I like em lots more) beside my mashed 'taters and greens.

    Lets see some more.

here a few more from the den

The elk in the corner was taken in NM in 99' with my bow at 12 yards the speed goat in the corner was taken in the same year at 525 yds . The elk scored 310 he's not a giant but made the book the goat scored 82 and 3/8 and just eaked its way into B&C. The Caribou hanging was taken in Northern Quebec with my bow and scored 368. The muley went 170, not a book animal but was a great hunt that I wont ever forget. I love this chit.....
