Seriously, thanks for the advice Frank. I have witnessed good dogs ruined with such collars, but have come to learn this is a result of a totally improper approach to training. I have purchased various E-collar training manuals and books and plan on using Mike Lardy's methods of minimal stimulation training.

I compare them to a bulldozer...great tool if used correctly but in the wrong hands they can flat out ruin a dog.

IMO, the Dogtra collars cannot be beat for the money. I've owned TT and Dogtra and have had much better luck overall with the Dogtra
