last year somebody stole my moultrie and the solar charger i had it to close to a road and when the leaves fell off the trees you could see the flash of the solar panel from the road. some people are brave or stupid to just stop on the road and walk in and get it.

i bought another one this year. got it on sale for 89 at bass pro. it takes nice picture. it is a 4mp the one stolen was a 3mp. you have to position it right if you are using it on a trail and not on a feeder location. if you put it at a right angle to the trail you will miss them. you have to have it pointing up the trail some.

here is a picture with the 3 mp that you cant blow up good enough to really tell if this is a ........12 point?

I have used most of them It seem they all have faults. Cuddybacks are fast and take great pictures but don't seem to last. Stealth cams eat batteries. My reconyx if very fast but takes alot of blurry pictures, but you will get 5000 pictures on 6 c cell batteries. I have started using homebrews. They are slower but take great pictures and parts can be replaced. I looked at the smartscouter but did not like the monthly phone bill and 1.3 mp is bottom line. Moultree are slow to trigger and don't last. They are like most hunting gear everyone will tell you one is better than the others.
