Too excited

Just a little over 24 hours from the start of a little adventure. My best friend and I are headed up to Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada to shoot some fowl. Ducks, geese and Sand hill Cranes. I have never been out of the country to hunt before and I am really excited to be going across the Great Divide.

I have a new phone (torch) and if i have service up there i will be posting up some pictures for the world to see. I ordered a new GPS that has Spot, but it is not here yet. You are supposed to be able to text and send messages to social sites even without cell service. Don't think i will be using it for that though.

Have any of you hunted for Sand Hills before? I have seen them hunting before. A place my Brother-in-Law had a lease, near Meeker, LA had some that would fly over and land about a half a mile south of us. they are very large and they sure made a strange sound. Of course there is no season on them in Louisiana.

Your going to have a blast up there. I use to hunt out of Vermilion and it was off the charts great!

I have friend that has a camp near there and is tearing it up, a case of shells a week, on his 5th week this week...

BTW, Google Earth or Flash earth is you friend here...
