Tis the season

By far my favorite time of year. Fishings on fire, hunting season is starting up, and soon it will start to cool off a bit.

Goose hunting locally has been awesome. Going again this afternoon and will hopefully have some pics to share. Dove hunted sat. as well as yesterday and plan to wrap up the breast in bacon tonight for a tasty meal.

Bow season starts saturday and i have been working my butt off the last few weeks bush hoggin and hangin stands. Its amazing what all we do for these critters. These same bucks have been visiting this stand for about 4 weeks now. Did see a few of them split up this past week. A couple have potential.

Hey Brandon,
Don't know if you save the livers from all those local geese, but if you like liver mush, it is awesome made with goose liver---- especially those fat, local bastards.
I was going to go myself yesterday, but just couldn't muster up enough enthusiasm to hunt in 92 degree heat.
In the mean time, I hope you kill Kill every one of those nasty local sombiches that take over swamps, marshes, ponds and any other spot a duck will want to feed or rest.

Hunted a cut corn field this evening and only had one group of 8 lock up and killed 5. Hunting a field thursday that should produce we will see.
