I'll be swatting Wood Ducks and Teal right and left. Work will keep me from the Sat opener but who cares. I went scouting the other day and my blind is
officially confirmed WDC (Wood Duck Central). Plenty teal also sighted. No big ducks, but I'm sure we will get a crack at some mallards too.

I can't wait.

Some buddies in my club hunted the monsoon on Sat. and way laid the Blue Wings. We ussually get a few but not a heck of lot. The USFWS said Teal pops were way up this year. Damn, they'll be gone by the time our season reopens in Nov.
