The Slick Trick test. He made it about 40 yds and went to bucking like a horse. Jumping 4' straight up. I have never seen one do that. He made 3 or 4 jumps and fell over. Came in about 20 minutes before dark which I was glad to see. Kay had hogs at 5:30 but they had second thoughts and turned back at about 40 yds. We had a swirling soft wind this evening and to be honest, I was very lucky to get mine within bow range. There was 7 in my sounder and they circled 180o and came in directly to the wind at the time. I thought sure I was busted but I guess greed got the best of them. It was light rain and usually with the high humidity scent goes down and the ones that take advantage of the wind often win. Not today. This boar is about 100 lbs like all his buddy's were in the group.
