    Had A Great Week,

Lot's of time in the wood's scouting and hunting, but the hog's were scarce. Not much sign, no small pig's seen, just lone boar's passin through. Sound's the same with everyone else I've talked with. The deer huntin was slow for those that were doing that as-well. I wasn't deer hunting, but was suprised with the lack of sightings during the week. The coyote's were alive and well, they "lit up" all around me about an hour after dark. Well it's not about the kill with me anymore, beautiful day's in the wood's and good time spent around the fire at night are what it's about. Not bad if you ask me. Frank

Glad you got some quality time in the woods. Maybe after a couple more cold snaps, they'll be moving again.

    Weekender,

Didn't see any in the flesh, just the track's they left at about 3:30 AM. They've had a huge acorn crop this year and as long as they've got food, water and cover there's really no need to be out and about. I expect they'll be runnin low on chow in Jan sometime. With the cold (hopefully) and lack of easy food laying around they should be moving and rooting.
We've got the second bear season this month, so between that, deer huntin and another trip or 2 hoggin, life should be good!!!
