I just got squirted with ballyhoo poop
Thanksgiving Arkansas Report
After suffering an ankle injury in late October, I had surgery and have been trying to recover since. After 5 long weeks on crutches, the doctor has allowed me to walk while wearing a boot. I haven't been able to do much, let alone hunt, and I have been dying to get out there. A last minute change of Thanksgiving plans had my Dad, brother, my dog, and I on a plane to Stuttgart, AR. I was able to squeeze into waders with a smaller ankle brace on, and was in the blind Saturday AM. They have hardly any water in the area, and we could only hunt 2 of our blinds on the lease in the cypress swamp. But since we were lucky enough to have some water, we had DUCKS! Saturday we hunted 4 guns, ended up with 21, and the dog picked up 18. Sunday, we hunted 4 guns and killed 24, and the dog picked up 20. We killed lots of Gadwalls, and the rest were a mixed bag of mallards, teal, widgeon, ringnecks, and wooducks. It was great to get back outdoors, and have such a great hunt with family!
