I hear NC is loaded with blue wings. Any truth to that rumour?? Seen any in MD or VA?? Whatta you know???

Up here in Worcester County, MD sightings have been few. Low water levels in many natural haunts have, I believe, sent them south. Locally bred puddle ducks are non-existent.

Few of them buzzing around Eastern Sussex. No great numbers that I've seen, but a few. Lots of park/resident ducks around.

Heard some honkers showing up the last couple nights. Love hearing them flying in on the full moon at midnight.

Naw Bert...skeeters, greenheads, rockfish up the guts, empty Pearl Cans and Mail Pouch sacks and but no teal in the VA marshes...Heading out the MD sections Saturday. Will report.

Ran up Pitts Creek and over to areas north of the southwest of the mouth of the Pocomoke River. Saw a few flipping around early this am. Blue and green. No numbers to speak of. Did see some woodies though.

I think this cool snap will bring in the next wave of migrators. I will be ready for them.
