Super fast picture quality lacks a little. Batteries last FOREVER. It took over 5000 pictures on one set of 6 C batteries.

we go through 4 C batteries every 3 weeks or so, just a few hundred photo's with a Wildview camera $50, our Moultrie $80 camera last a little longer with 6 D batteries. Then we have a Stealth camera $350 that battries last 6 months but the camera cost was 7 times more than the cheapos, guess you get what you pay for. What kind do you have Buckeye?

I have use almost every camera on the market. I even have 2 I built myself. They all have shortcomings.(trigger speed, picture quality, battery life and longgevity)This camera is a Reconyx rc55. Big $$$$$ the pictures aren't as clear as I would like them from a camera of that $$$$. I'm hoping it will last longer that one year. I leave my cameras out 365 day a year and find that most will only last for about 16 months.
