Sweet November!

This season has had its ups and downs, from seeing shooters in the early doe season, to no shooters at all from mid october to Halloween. November , however is a special time which I'm sure you all have expierenced. knowing that today 's conditions setup pretty good with a steady rain all of yesterday and half the night, i went into one of my spots I don't even breathe on til november. I had 5 does around me for an hour or so. they fed off and i looked behind me and there he was walking away from me scent checking the does . As my heart sank i threw every call except the rattle bag at this buck.At first he didn't seem that interested but i had made up mind that i was gonna give him hell even if it meant never seeing this deer again. After alot of grunting,Primos can call and the old, snort weeze he couldnt stand it anylonger. He ripped the hell out of some small trees and came back to me and gave me a perfect 25 yard 1/4 away shot. i drew i waited (which is always tough for me) , He hit my lane and THWACK ! Rage did its job ,he ran 45 yards and piled up. One the best hunts i have ever had!

Hes a typical 10. I havent scored him yet , but im guessing low 130s ...

congrats on a dang fine buck with the bow, the hunt sounded very exciting, having the buck to respond to the call had to give you a real charge.

Nice Buck.. Was out tonight and had a buck chasing a doe. The rutt is just now starting to kick in here. The next two weeks it will be on!!

He should, unless I am wrong about having no deductions. for me age is more important then score and at 4 1/2 hes a good PA buck.

My bro is hunting real hard this last week of our early Archery season, hopefully we can double up. he is in my stand this am and so far has seen 5 small bucks all chasing does. I know there is a 150 or better still in there..... my fingers are crossed for him.
